As I was looking through my seed catalogs, I found a little one entitled Seeds from Italy. Well, how fun would that be to plant some seeds from Italy! Since a friend of mine just took off this week with a travel group to Italy, I really felt in the mood to order some seeds from Italy’s oldest family-owned seed company, since 1783! The seeds are not genetically modified (GMO), which is very important to me because I will never buy or knowingly plant any genetically-modified seeds. I have placed my order and looking forward to planting some Borlotto beans! Ever heard of them? Maybe I will have pictures to show you of my abundant crop! And if my other Italian seeds produce, you will get to see photos of those as well. Gardeners are so optimistic for a new growing season!
